Puff the Magic Dragon was always a favourite family song because of the connection with our 'Puff' (Dad's Mirror 16 racing dinghy) Dad thrice won the National Championships in Puff and spent many years sailing her on the River Alde at Slaughden and Orford Sailing Clubs. Dad eventually sold Puff however years later he found her in a neglected state, unfit for sailing. He bought her and with much TLC, renovated her back to racing conditions. Angie and Dad enjoyed sailing her once more on the River Alde. Sadly Puff was sold once Dad could no longer manage to sail due to his MND.

Dad … I wish you knew this... You would be delighted to know that Puff has won some more silverware with her new owners who have kept in touch with us. Her legend continues to ride the waves …
